Joyce Lee

B.F.A in Fiber and Material Studies, M.F.A in Design for Emerging Technologies

Joyce is an interdisciplinary artist with a passion for tackling complexities and aims to align her creative practice towards meaningful impact. Prior to MDE, she worked as a generalist within an e-commerce industrial supply company while serving within joint multi-domain missions overseas in the United States Army Reserves. Her work includes emergent operations that encompassed significant impact on society. Her services range from information technology to space operations, and she achieved the rank of sergeant.

Outside of work, Joyce finds joy in visiting conservatories, museums, and enjoys long walks with her dog, Queso.
