Joachim Asare

B.S. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Joachim is a versatile engineer with technical skills spanning from electrical and electronics to computer engineering systems. Over the last few years, he has been working as an Electronic and IoT engineer, where he was responsible for the innovation and maintenance of IoT and embedded systems that incorporate smart capabilities into existing electronic systems. Joachim’s encounter with large volumes of data while building IoT systems during and after college sparked a keen interest in the utilization of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Coupled with a liberal arts background he realizes the vital need to adopt a holistic multi-disciplinary approach to designing engineering systems. He joined the MDE program to extend his knowledge in designing human-centered emerging technologies through AI/ML applications and IoT system design.
