Darren Chin

Bachelor of Commerce, Operations Management

Darren is a strategic designer and product designer with an interest in venture-building and creating compelling products. Academically trained in operations management, Darren enjoys combining his quantitative analysis skills with his passion for using design methods and tools to inform organizational strategy, qualitative user research, and product strategy/design.

With over 6+ years in management consulting and design, Darren most recently worked at Boston Consulting Group’s Digital Ventures arm in New York, and has come to the MDE program to explore the consumer health / medtech and edtech spaces, especially in an entrepreneurial context.

Outside of MDE, Darren practices Japanese wheel pottery, dabbles in film photography, and volunteers on boards for arts and social housing non-profits in Canada.
