Dana Cho

Chief Design Officer, Verily Life Sciences

Dana Cho is a design executive and currently the Chief Design Officer at Verily Life Sciences, an Alphabet company. She is responsible for product design across the entire precision health portfolio, with specialties in interaction design, design strategy, industrial design, user research, content strategy, UX engineering and UX operations. Prior to Verily, Dana was Head of UX for Google Search, overseeing all aspects of design and user research for Google’s flagship product, reaching over 1 billion users. Features that supported privacy and information integrity were launched during her tenure, a period of significant daily and monthly active user growth. Prior to Google, Dana was Partner and Managing Director at IDEO. She sits on the Dean’s Leadership Council for Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, serves as a member of the Visiting Committee for GSD, and is a founding Advisory Board member for Harvard’s Master of Design Engineering program. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University’s GSD.
