Brandon seeks to address the consequences of emerging technologies on the lives of everyday people, especially those directly and disproportionately affected by asymmetric power dynamics. Acknowledging the inherent complexity and systemic nature of these issues, he sees collaborative partnership among diverse stakeholder groups as a prerequisite for sustainably advancing change. He emphasizes that this change is dynamic and non-linear, operating across multiple levels and with varying degrees of impact–there’s always another path worth exploring to achieve meaningful change in the face of adversity. Brandon joins us from Lyft’s Fleet & Global Operations business unit where he worked on rideshare rental marketplace initiatives that helped reign in program costs and bolster eco-friendly vehicle deployments in alignment with the company’s fleet electrification efforts. During his time at Lyft, he also served as a mentor and technical advisor to the Community Safety team.
