Adrian Kombe

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering

Adrian is a mechanical design engineer with experience spanning robotics, virtual reality, property technology, and fitness tech. Prior to joining the MDE program, he worked in NYC, restoring robotic systems by designing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components. As a consultant, he developed experimental VR technology, lead all baseline testing and provided creative solutions for future iterations.

He joined the MDE program to learn more about bringing human centered and systems design to hardware products. Adrian actively seeks out work that integrates complexity, human interaction and social impact. In his free time, he enjoys exploring South African history, prototyping new ideas, and cooking creative meals inspired by global cuisines.
