Abigail Swallow

B.S. in Social Policy

Abigail joined MDE with the goal of combining their work in Social Policy with design methodologies to create impactful design interventions, particularly in the field of technology ethics. Prior to MDE, Abigail was a student at Northwestern University where they studied Social Policy and Civic Engagement. Abigail is naturally curious, interested in many things, but especially how we can leverage design to make things more accessible. Abigail was drawn to MDE’s multidisciplinary nature and the ability to learn from so many different disciplines, thinkers, and problem spaces. Outside of school, Abigail can be found doing outdoor activities, listening to jazz music, and working on creative coding projects.
